Color Champions out of Grand Champions, domestic-born, documented, multigenerational Champion pedigrees to create the best “All American Alpacas." This is the ticket to the predictability and the success of the Park View breeding program!

Park View has not let up, but is continuing their winning tradition. The 2010 Show Season began with a continued demonstration of award winning consistency. Park View Alpacas took the show ring at the Futurity in Oklahoma City against some of the most profound Suri competition ever in North America...and we were awarded Breeder of the Year.

We now have 3rd-generation AOBA National Champions, 3rd-generation Supreme Champions (Best of Show), 3rd-generation IAO Best Head and 4th-generation Color Champions!

Many of our Champions are 3rd-generation and even 4th-generation Color Champions from major shows (AOBA Nationals, Futurity, IAO, GWAS, AWE, CABA), meaning that their sires (and sometimes dams), grandsires and grand dams and now great-grandsires and great-grand dams are also Color Champions. We have 48 examples listed on our website, many with photos. We now have seventeen 4th-generation major show COLOR CHAMPION Suris.

Park View has always considered the female as equally important in the breeding equation. We have focused on qualities of the animal in regard to fleece, conformation, health, and reproduction. Park View Females, many of whom have won or produced Color Champion offspring are bred to 17-time Color Champion Balboa, producing Color Champion offspring including 2010 IAO Supreme Champion, Chablis of PVA ,or another one of the Top Herdsires in North America(or the world) Kobe of PVA, Montoya of PVA or Keanu of PVA, all of whom have produced Supreme Champions and many Color Champions at the Major Shows.

At Park View, show winnings is only part of the equation. What you don't see in the show ring is our stead fast and profound emphasis on health, reproducibility, and consistency of IgG, milk production, and the consistent quality of each and every offspring produced at our ranch. The fact is that we can emphasize all of these issues and still continue to dominate in the show ring is not an accident, but rather the results of a commitment to these animals and to the future of the North American alpaca industry.

The TenHulzen’s extend a warm welcome to the alpaca community: “We invite you to share in our success and in the success of the North American alpaca industry. We don't play games, we don't play politics. All we do is breed and ‘criate’ alpacas. When they are able, the animals speak for themselves."
